This paper lined bowl from ""Owan ya Uchida"" is made by applying Washi paper to the wooden base and layering lacquer on top. Applying Washi paper not only increases strength but also allows the characteristic texture of Washi to appear on the surface, letting you enjoy a different texture from glossy lacquered bowls.
